Before the emergence of Dr. Chidi Lloyd as the chairman of Emohua LGA in 2021, the local government council suffered huge infrastructural decay, including reticulation of potable water.
In line with his administration’s commitment towards transforming the council headquarters to stand out in the comity of LGAs in Nigeria, Dr Chidi Lloyd had within one year conceived and completed a 20, 000-gallon Braithwaite water scheme, which presently reticulates water across the different facilities and departments in the local government council headquarters.
The completion and inauguration of the project had long put to end the era of lifting water with the use of buckets from one section of the council to another, as every facility and department in the local government headquarters is systematically connected to the Braithwaite water reticulation scheme.
